As we round out the second year of "Connecting...with Bill Sobel" on CMSWire my fearless editor, Sherry Toplyn and I are as busy as ever. In addition to three more interviews planned for the rest of the year we are in the process of putting together an "End of Year" look back on some of the interesting people you have met in my column.

That said, stay tuned later this week for one of the most interesting people I met recently at at event sponsored by my friend Bonnie Halper of at her regular "Startup Breakfast with An Investor" series. Her name is Fran Hauser and she is a venture capital investor, digital media veteran, and an advocate for women and kids.

As always, if you have somebody who might make for a great interview we are always open to suggestions and recommendations. Please feel free to email me at While we cannot interview every suggestion we will certainly look at everyone.

Mr. Rudolpho's Jubilee

Please support my friends at Bright Blue Gorilla
(Robyn Rosenkrantz and Michael Glover) on their new INDEGOGO project!

Mr. Rudolpho's Jubilee   is a romantic comedy with musical narration by Bright Blue Gorilla! It is the story of a world-famous Italian fashion designer who becomes disillusioned with his shallow life and decides to commit suicide during Berlin Fashion Week. Fortunately, his plan goes wrong and he's taken in by a group of Bohemian artists (The Boheems), who have no idea who he is. Meanwhile, the world outside searches for Rudolpho... and this being a Bright Blue Gorilla film, the plot thickens, spins and churns with love, music, and comic mayhem!
