Achieving Success, One Job Lead at a Time!

Lisa was laid off from work and decided to attend a Welcome Aboard orientation at PA CareerLink® Montgomery County to learn about the available services that could help her in her reemployment journey. She got paired with a career coach to review her resume, interview skills, and job search strategies. Lisa had extensive administrative and human resources experience and really enjoyed working with individuals as part of a team. She met with her coach to review her CareerScope results, an assessment designed to help individuals realize their abilities and interests and how they translate to career pathways. Customer service was a key focus of Lisa's journey so the team got to work sourcing opportunities that would be a fit! After a few months of following up on leads and submitting applications, Lisa found a match! Through her consistent efforts and communication with the PA CareerLink® Montgomery County team, Lisa gained full time employment working as a customer service representative at Array Architects, earning $22 per hour. It has been three months since starting and she continues to be happy with her employment. The entire team at PA CareerLink® Montgomery County is so proud of Lisa’s accomplishments and will continue to support her as she settles into her new role.
