Summer is Coming!
Kids Camp is back! Plan a fun, active, adventure filled summer for the kids in your life with SCUBA diving lessons!
 
Kids Camp is the perfect opportunity for your 10 – 17 year old to gain the knowledge and experience needed to become a safe and competent diver. This four-day program reviews all of the theory and pool training necessary for an open water certification.

From the Repair Department
If you have an Air Source 3, it’s crucially important that you pack your BCD properly to avoid damaging it.
 
When packing your BCD, don’t unscrew the Air Source3! This can wear away the threading and cause rounding in the plastic resulting in a leak.
 
Instead, disconnect it at the mid-point, and tuck in the hose. Pack the bottom section with your regulator, making sure to protect the top purge valve. Failure to do so could cause the diaphragm to get dislodged, resulting in a constant free flow.
 
Our repair techs are seeing this damage more and more. Ask our staff to demonstrate how to pack your Airsource3 to help your gear last longer.

What's the Best Way for YOU to Review?
Get over those first dive jitters before you get to your dive destination. All divers should jump in the water to refresh and review the skills from the Open Water certification prior to their trip.
 
POOL NIGHT~ Once a month, we open our pool for divers to come in after hours and splash around. This is a self guided review (there won't be an instructor on duty) but gives you a chance to set up your gear, blow bubbles, and keep things fresh between trips. If you can't make it to Pool Night, you can call us to book a Pool Workout whenever our pool is available.

The pool will be available from 6 - 9pm on the following nights:

  • April 30
  • May 15
  • June 18

Tip of the Month
Take a picture of your passport identification page and visa entry stamp with your phone. This way, instead of carrying your passport around with you, and potentially losing it, you can have it on your phone if someone stops you or needs to see it. It also helps when checking in for a flight or filling out a customs form on the plane so you don’t need to rummage.
