Lisa reviews popular fiction and non-fiction, and her reviews have appeared in The New York Times, The Washington Post and The Philadelphia Inquirer. She has served as President of Mystery Writers of America and has taught a course she developed, "Justice and Fiction" at The University of Pennsylvania Law School, her alma mater. Lisa has over 30 million copies of her books in print and is published in over 35 countries. gardening-items.jpg Did you know that Beth Sholom has a Mitzvah Garden? We would love your help!
Each year volunteers plant vegetables and herbs to give away at our pantry, and flowers for the community and to bring to people who are ill.

We are ready to begin planting and we need your help. We have shorter and longer volunteer options available during during the spring, summer and early fall:

-Help get the soil ready and plant
-Water one day a week; we will also assign an alternate person for times when you are not available
-Harvest (Tuesday afternoon or Wednesday mornings)

No experience necessary. Working in the garden helps grow your soul!
