NASHVILLE, TN (January 19, 2024) -- The North America Country Music Hall of Fame announces the 2024 Legendary Hall of Fame Inductees to be held at the Country Tonite Theater in Pigeon Forge TN, March 16, 2024 at 6:00 PM.  These "TRUE LEGENDS" are those who have influenced the evolution of Country Music.

2024 HALL OF FAME INDUCTEES ARE:

- BARBARA FAIRCHILD, The Country Music Sweetheart
Barbara has had many country music hits over the years, but was made famous in 1973 for her mega hit, Teddy Bear. Barbara, along with her husband, Roy, will perform Teddy Bear at the HALL OF FAME induction ceremony.  She will be inducted by none other than our Hall of Fame Chief Operation Officer, Johnathan Bond.

- JOHN BERRY
John was introduced to Country Music radio by Capital Records in 1994 and immediately found a place in the heart of all Country Music fans. John is well known for many songs, especially Your Love Amazes Me, which is definitely a crowd pleaser and topped the Country Music charts as a #1. His rendition of Oh Holy Night has set the course for 27 straight years of Christmas tours. He is being inducted by Mr. Ron Meredith, president of Clinton Broadcasters, Inc. as well as M&M Broadcasting of Knoxville TN.

- MEL TILLIS
Mel Tillis began his incline to becoming not only a Superstar because of his songs, but also in how he could truly reach right into the heart of his fans. He often spoke about how his stutter issues were difficult as a kid, but he learned to cope with the issues through music. Mel passed on November 19, 2017. The Hall of Fame induction award will be accepted by his children, who will also perform in their dad's honor. The award will be presented by Ms. Bev McCann, television host of The Nashville Beat and the producer of The Nashville Corner.

- RANDY TRAVIS
In 1985 the radio waves began to blaze with a brand new single, On The Other Hand, performed by a newcomer, Randy Travis. Although he has had many hits, this song is still a crowd favorite. Randy suffered a stroke in 2013 and is unable to perform as before, but his music still speaks for itself. He will be on stage and presented the Hall of Fame induction by Ms. Jennifer Herron, the producer for Crook & Chase, as well as host for the Hall of Famer television show.
