Declaration of Emergency Lifted
Please be advised that the Municipal Declaration of Emergency in the Municipality of North Middlesex was lifted on Wednesday, July 28, 2021. 

We ask community members to continue to follow all public health measures through Middlesex-London Health Unit and Ontario Government's Roadmap to Reopen.

Our Community Improvement Plan (CIP)- Innovate North has officially launched for the 2021 season. Applications will remain open for the year and we encourage local businesses to take advantage of this potential funding opportunity.

This year there are four series of funding programs available that are targeted to our community through the CIP; Beautification Program, Rural Economic Development Program, Accessibility Program and Brownfield Study Program.

Pilot Project- Dennett Dog Park

Are you a resident of North Middlesex? If so, we want to hear from you! Our Parks & Recreation Department is looking to construct a Dog Park at the Ailsa Craig Lions Park.

We currently have a survey running to receive resident feedback on desires, concerns and potential amenities. If you wish to learn more and participate in the survey visit the link below.
Reopening Ontario- Step 3

On July 16th, 2021, Ontario moved into Step 3 in the Roadmap to reopen. This third step focus is on expanding access to indoor settings, with restrictions, including where there are larger numbers of people and where face coverings can’t always be worn.

Please continue to follow public health guidance like physical distancing, masking, and hand hygiene as much as possible.
Let the Building Begin- AC Water Tower
On Thursday, July 22nd, the ground was officially broken to start the building process of the new Ailsa Craig Water Tower.

The tower will be located at 4668 West Corner Drive, Ailsa Craig ON. We look forward to this addition to the community to support future development and growth!

As the summer months approach we have received several complaints of Fireworks being set off and upsetting residents and pets alike.

Did you know fireworks are only allowed on Victoria Day and Canada's Day in North Middlesex? Please respect the rules and find an alternative way to celebrate this summer season.
