Holiday Message from our Section Chair Nick Belmont

As the year draws to a close and we gather with family and friends, this holiday season offers us a special time for reflection. In a world that often seems to move faster every day, the holidays allow us to pause, reconnect, and appreciate the people around us.

Here at PNWS, we’re more than colleagues—we’re a community with a shared mission, united by the work we do and the values we hold. This time of year, we see those values shine even brighter. We see it in the volunteers who contribute countless hours, in the members who step up to mentor others, and in every individual who brings their energy and ideas to our Section’s initiatives.

During this season, I encourage each of us to not only look back on the accomplishments and progress we’ve made together but also to look forward. Consider the year ahead, and think about the people who make this work rewarding. How can we continue to strengthen our Section and support one another as we step into the new year?

The holiday season is also a time to reach out—to reconnect with members we may not see regularly and to share in the stories, lessons, and successes we’ve each experienced this year. Whether through a quick note, a shared laugh, or simply a smile, small gestures of connection go a long way.

To all of you, I extend my warmest wishes for a joyful holiday season filled with peace, rest, and quality time with those you cherish. Here’s to ending the year on a high note and to a new year full of possibilities. I’m excited to continue this journey with you all and am grateful for the chance to serve as your Chair.
