Faculty reveal coming soon!

Sweet Adelines is proud to offer two scholarship opportunities for the coming year: the Bev Sellers Memorial Scholarship and the brand-new Pat Ostrander 4-Star Collection Quartet Scholarship. Both scholarships are funded thanks to our generous donors.

Pat Ostrander 4-Star Collection Quartet Scholarship: Pat Ostrander, lead of 4-Star Collection, fondly remembers their journey to the 1997 International Champion Quartet. In recognition of the importance of the educational events they attended, Pat has funded the 4-Star Collection Quartet Scholarship. The scholarship provides eligible Sweet Adelines quartets with funding to attend a Sweet Adelines-sponsored event. Two quartets will be selected to be awarded $1,600 USD to help them attend either the 2026 A Cappella Academy & Queens' College with The Coronet Club, or the 2026 Sweet Adelines International Convention & Competition.

Sweet Adelines International scholarship applications are open November 15, 2025–January 25, 2026.

International Board of Directors Election

It’s IBOD election season!

All chapters, members-at-large, and chapter-at-large members received online voting instructions via email on September 24, 2025. If you have not received this information, email: corp_secy@sweetadelines.com

Voting closes at 3 p.m. CST (9 p.m. UTC) on Wednesday, December 3, 2025.

Three members will be elected for the 2026-2029 term. Election results will be published on our website and announced on Sweet Adelines social media.

During international convention, we announced an extraordinary legacy gift!

Barbara A. Nielsen has generously designated $500,000 USD to Sweet Adelines International, establishing the Barbara A. Nielsen Endowment Fund to support Judge Scholarships, Education, and Training. An endowment fund provides lasting support by investing the principal and using only a portion of the earnings each year, helping to ensure our organization’s long-term stability and impact.

Barbara’s gift reflects her lifelong love for Sweet Adelines and her commitment to our growth for generations to come in the video below:

As a donor, you will help preserve our legacy, support our mission, and enjoy exclusive benefits.

Your generosity ensures a lifetime of Sweet Adelines for generations to come!
