NuAxis Happiness Pulse Check Survey

As part of our Employee Experience (EX) efforts, feedback from you is a very important indicator for assessing team member happiness.

Dear NuAxis Team,


Our quarterly NuAxis Happiness Pulse Check Survey uses this Net Promoter Score concept. It allows us to measure and get a snapshot of NuAxis team members’ willingness to be ambassadors for the company by advocating employment here. By asking a variation of the question, “On a scale of zero to ten, how likely is it that you would recommend this company as a place to work?”; we can get a good sense of team member happiness and engagement on a quarterly basis.


We have added two additional questions below to better gauge your feedback, which will help us continue to build the best employee experience for you and our team members.


  • How meaningful is the work you are doing?
  • How much do your opinions about work matter to your co-workers?

Pay Periods


Employees are paid on a semi-monthly basis, unless law in particular states requires other schedules. Pay day is on the 10th and 25th of the month. If the pay day falls on a non-business day (holiday or weekend), then employees will be paid the preceding work day. Wage and hour laws require that accurate records be maintained of hours worked daily and in each workweek for all non-exempt (hourly) employees. Employees are required to provide accurate time reporting either via a time clock (if provided) or on timecards provided. Management is responsible for scheduling work hours and approving time records.


Employees are expected to fulfill​ the total number of hours of their regular workweek, in addition to other hours as required due to business requirements, including customer demand, on a weekly basis. Hours are to be recorded and will be paid in minimum increments of .25 hours. If the employee is absent from work, PTO is to be used to complete the normal work schedule. Only if the employee does not have any leave time can time without pay be taken. Such non-paid time or vacation which is not pre-approved may be considered an unexcused absence and be the basis for disciplinary action depending upon the circumstances.

Jury Duty & Court Subpoenaed Absences


If you are called to perform jury duty, or subpoenaed to court as a result of legal action that you did not initiate and which is clearly out of your control, you must provide a copy of the summons to your manager immediately upon receipt. While on jury duty, you will receive your normalcompensation for up to 40 hours.


If 4 or more hours remain in the workday following jury duty, you should return to work and complete the remainder of your workday, except where otherwise prohibited by applicable state law. If you initiate legal action resulting in a subpoena for your appearance in court, you must charge the period of leave to PTO or Leave Without Pay.
