Key Information for OE 2025-2026

Managing Rising Healthcare Costs

We have been in extensive discussions and negotiations with our benefits broker and carriers to provide the best options and the lowest cost. This is part of our Employee Experience commitment to you, our team members. We're especially excited to share some great news regarding costs. Despite the significant challenges facing the GovCon industry and the broader US economy—factors that are driving healthcare costs upward across the board—we've managed to achieve something truly remarkable: we've kept the rate changes to a single-digit dollar increase across every plan. This was a huge focus for us, and we're very proud to deliver this outcome. Here are the important highlights for Open Enrollment and Plan Year 2025-2026. For detailed information, please review the benefits guide and join one of the webinars.

Medical Plan

Medical plan designs will remain with Meritain, powered by the Aetna network. If you are a member, you can login to the Meritain portal to search for providers. If you are considering joining the NuAxis plans for the first time at Open Enrollment, you can search the network HERE. Please be sure to “Continue as a guest”, as you are not yet a member. Your network will be Aetna Choice POS II (Open Access), the richest network that Aetna provides.

Health Savings Account (HSA)

NuAxis’ HSA vendor will continue to be WEX.

Two-Tier Rates

As part of our commitment to promoting a healthy lifestyle and controlling healthcare costs, we are continuing to require all employees enrolled in a NuAxis Medical plan to engage in our wellness program. It is largely due to your involvement in the wellness plans that we were able to contain costs for this plan year and we continue to encourage you to take part in health initiatives offered by NuAxis. If you're already registered for both Healthy Merits and HealthJoy, you have done the first step! There is no need to re-register if you are already registered with both platforms.

NuAxis rewards employees that have proactive engagement in our health and wellness programs, offering significant savings compared to the standard benefits rates. If you are enrolled in NuAxis’ Meritain medical coverage currently and not yet registered on both portals, or if you are newly enrolling in the medical plan, your deadline to register for the portals is August 31st, 2025. After this deadline you will remain in or be moved to the standard rate, which will be $50 more per month starting from the first paycheck in October. Deadlines for new hires and instructions to register are listed in the benefits guide.

For those who voluntarily choose not to register for the wellness platforms offered, the employee will be charged a STANDARD rate (aka Non-Engaged). More details on Engaged vs. Non-Engaged will be shared with you in the benefit guide.

Chronic Illness Management

We are continuing Chronic Illness Management via the HealthJoy platform. If a member has a chronic illness, experts will be available to guide you through a personalized approach that has demonstrated outcomes to help employees. More details will be shared in the benefits guides and during the open enrollment webinars.

Vision and Dental Plans

UNUM powered by the EyeMed network will continue to be our vision carrier.

Our dental carrier will continue to be UNUM. NuAxis will continue offering two dental plans. You can search UNUM’s network of dental providers HERE. Please scroll down and click “Search” below “Find a Dental Provider” on the left. Select the Dentamax Plus / AlwaysCare network.

HealthJoy Healthcare Concierge Service

NuAxis will continue to offer a healthcare concierge service. Any employee enrolling in medical coverage will have access to this benefit at no cost. If you are newly electing the medical plan please note that invitations will be coming from HealthJoy on or around August 1.

FSA Rollover Reminder!

As always, FSA elections will need to be re-elected during Open Enrollment for the new plan year. Your existing contributions amounts do NOT transfer automatically to the new plan year.

FSA Reminder! Please remember that you can rollover up to $640 of your unused FSA funds into the new plan year, beginning August 1, 2025. Any balance over $640 will be forfeited if not spent by August 1, 2025

Additional Benefits

All employees will continue to have access to both the BenefitHub Discount Marketplace and LifeMart.

Prepare for Open Enrollment

Below are a few ways to prepare for a smooth open enrollment.

Your benefits elections will be available for review in ADP. We encourage you to view your current benefit selections so that you have a general idea and can compare them to new options in the coming weeks. If you are unable to access your ADP account, please contact the NuAxis Service Desk.

·   First Time Users: If you haven’t registered on the ADP Workforce Now site, you must do so immediately.

·   Returning Users: If you can’t remember your user name or password, please use the Forgot Your User Id or Forgot your Password links on the ADP Employee Self Service portal.

·   Personal Information Update: If you have recently moved or changed addresses, please be sure to update both your Taleo and ADP accounts. Insurance cards will be mailed out to the address listed in ADP.

·   Register for one of the Webinars: We have shared the links above for two webinars. We will also have recordings available soon on my.nuaxis.com. Bereavement Leave Policy

We have taken into consideration the personal needs that arise from the death of an immediate family member. You will be allowed leave for up to three days with full pay until and including the day of the funeral. Should you wish to attend a funeral that requires significant out-of-town travel (over 500 miles from your home), you may request an extension to the standard three-day bereavement leave of up to two days of paid leave.

Funeral leave pay will not be granted to employees attending a funeral during periods when, for other reasons, they are not at work, such as vacation, holidays, and illness. Immediate family is understood to include father, mother, step-parents, spouse, domestic partner, child, step-child, sister, brother, mother-in-law, father-in-law, brother-in-law, sister-in-law, and grandparents. If you request Bereavement Leave, you may be asked to provide evidence that a death has occurred in your immediate family.

Jury Duty & Court Subpoenaed Absences

If you are called to perform jury duty, or subpoenaed to court as a result of legal action that you did not initiate and which is clearly out of your control, you must provide a copy of the summons to your manager immediately upon receipt. While on jury duty, you will receive your normal compensation for up to 40 hours.

If 4 or more hours remain in the workday following jury duty, you should return to work and complete the remainder of your workday, except where otherwise prohibited by applicable state law. If you initiate legal action resulting in a subpoena for your appearance in court, you must charge the period of leave to PTO or Leave Without Pay. Please click here to read more

Eating a healthy breakfast offers a range of benefits that support both physical and mental well-being. It replenishes energy levels by restoring blood sugar after an overnight fast, helping adults stay active and energized throughout the morning. Breakfast also boosts cognitive performance, improving concentration and mental function at work.
