Congratulations to the Cast of SBC's 44th Annual Production of The Nutcracker
Springfield Ballet Company held open auditions for its 44th annual production of
The Nutcracker on Sunday, September 16. More than 100 dancers attended the audition.
SBC was able to cast more than 60 community dancers for the roles of Baby Mice, Big Mice, Soldiers, Cavalry, Bon Bons, Buttermints, Pixies, Angels, and more.

Audiences were raving about the diversity of music and dance styles, and they couldn't stop talking about the stunning aerial performance by SBC alum Meghan Loman.

The Nutcracker.
The Nutcracker is a timeless holiday classic that follows Clara and her Nutcracker from a lavish Christmas party to a fierce battle with the evil Mouse King, then to a magical journey through the Land of Snow and the Kingdom of Sweets. The production features a cast of more than 120, including our Company dancers, local adult actors, young dancers from the community and professional guest artists.
