2 Corinthians 5:17 (KJV 1900)
17Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.
For MANY, MANY years I have lived and preached under this motto.....
“I may not be a “good/great Christian, Preacher, husband, teacher, Pastor, father, singer, musician....................................
BUT I am BETTER than I used to be!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!”
CAN I GET A RELIEVED AMEN!!!!????
In other words, if you think I am bad now ya' shoulda seen me before!!!!

Beloved, being a Christian, a follower of Jesus Christ, is NOT hundred year dash to glory, BUT a long distance race of endurance and patience!!!!
“PLEASE BE PATIENT!! GOD IS NOT FINISHED YET!!!”
“CHRISTIAN UNDER CONSTRUCTION!!!!'
Can I get a double AMEN!!??
Again, beloved, WE cannot hold to account or JUDGE ANYONE on their past-both ancient or recent!!!
THE OLD GRAY MARE SHE AIN'T WHAT SHE USED TO BE.
For over twelve years I USED TO LIVE in a town called Marietta, GA. The KEY words in the above sentence is “I USED TO LIVE.”
“I USED to live”-PAST TENSE!!! Whatever transpired, whatever I did or said is “IN THE PAST!!!!!” Good and bad!!!!
I cannot change or “fix” it. As ole Solomon so excellently said:
Ecclesiastes 11:3 (KJV 1900)
3If the clouds be full of rain, they empty themselves upon the earth: and if the tree fall toward the south, or toward the north, in the place where the tree falleth, there it shall be.
“AS THE TREE FALLETH, THERE IT SHALL BE!!!!”
On the surface that seems like a silly statement.... but SELAH/THINK ABOUT IT......
What is done or said is DONE!!! PERIOD!! FINALE!!!!!
BUT, through the Lord Jesus Christ people DO change and/or get better!!!!
And here is another thing.
Luke 9:62 (KJV 1900)
62And Jesus said unto him, No man, having put his hand to the plough, and looking back, is fit for the kingdom of God.
WE have to, WE must forget about OUR past-GOOD AND BAD!!!!
One CANNOT plow a straight furrow looking over their shoulder at what they have already plowed!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! AMEN!!?????
In baseball, one is NOT as good as their LAST at bat!!
FORGET THAT STRIKEOUT WITH THE BASES LOADED!!!
FORGET THAT HOME RUN AT YOUR PREVIOUS AT BAT!!!!
THEY DON'T COUNT IN THE PRESENT AT BAT!!!!
FAILURE is a part of success!! One only learns through past mistakes!!!!!!
WE all have good days and bad days................
STOP looking at, STOP dwelling on YOUR past!!!
STOP looking inward-
Paul so aptly declared:
Romans 7:18 (KJV 1900)
18For I know that in me (that is, in my flesh,) dwelleth no good thing: for to will is present with me; but how to perform that which is good I find not.
There is “NO GOOD THING” in ya!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
The ONLY good thing “in us” is J-E-S-U-S!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
HE ALONE IS GOOD!!! HE ALONE IS GOD!!!!!

27To whom God would make known what is the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles; which is Christ in you, the hope of glory:
TODAY, LOOK UP!!!!!

Look unto Jesus, “THE AUTHOR AND FINISHER of our faith!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!”

6Being confident of this very thing, that he which hath begun a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ:
This same Jesus, the ONE who saved us, is more than able to FINISH what HE started!!
TODAY, stop looking at YOUR past and look up!!!
