Today we head for the Metropolitan Museum of Art to celebrate the HARLEM RENAISSANCE as the first African-American movement of international modern art. The show contains more than 160 works including paintings, sculpture, photography, and more, exploring how black artists portrayed everyday life in northern cities such as CHICAGO and NEW YORK in the early days of the GREAT MIGRATION.
Morning pick-up is at City Avenue and Rittenhouse Square. We will drop off in mid-town near MoMA and the Metropolitan Museum of Art. Departure will be from the MET.
