  | Oceanside Crime Continues to Decline | New mid-year data shows that Oceanside has experienced a sustained decline in crime. Overall major crimes dropped 9% from 2024 to 2025, and a remarkable 30% since 2021, one of the largest four-year crime reductions among regional cities. Crimes against people fell 5% from the prior year, and crimes against society, (including drug and weapons offenses), dropped 11%, continuing a dramatic 69% decline since 2021.
