β | Council Budget Workshop April 15 | Each year, City staff develops a proposed budget for the upcoming fiscal year, which is presented to the City Council for review. On April 15, the City Council will hold its annual Budget Workshop to discuss a spending plan and community priorities. Sign up to receive meeting agendas | | | | Annual Harbor Dredge to Begin | The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers annually dredges the Oceanside Harbor inlet for safe navigation of vessels. Mobilization has begun and the 2026 dredge is expected to begin Monday, April 6, 2026. The operation will wrap up about May 9, barring any equipment or bad weather delays. The sand dredged from the inlet is pumped onto Oceanside beaches. Safety measures and environmental monitoring are in place. Please use caution at the beach during the dredge operation. They'll be working to lower wildfire risk by reducing dry, flammable, non-native plant material before the hot season.
