Harbor Dredging Continues

The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers began mobilizing in early April for the annual dredge of the Oceanside Harbor inlet to ensure the safe navigation of vessels. This year, they estimate about 500,000 cubic yards of dredged sand will be placed on Oceanside beaches, which is much more than usual. Please use caution in and around the beach area while this project is underway. More

Bike Theft Prevention

We see more bikes on the roads as the weather warms. Unfortunately, thieves see them too, and can take advantage when you leave your bike unattended. Help reduce theft and protect your bike by following a few simple steps. Invest in a sturdy lock. Park it smart. Take your e-bike battery with you. Secure your garage. Consider a GPS tracker on your bike. More information
