Street Sweeping Parking Enforcement to Remain 'On Hold' for Now
|
Before the Regional Stay at Home Order was announced by the State, the City planned to resume street sweeping parking enforcement on January 4, 2021. Due to the current circumstances, the street sweeping parking enforcement start date will be delayed to a date to be determined. In the meantime, staff will continue routine sweeping without enforcement while addressing stored, abandoned, or unregistered vehicles. Please continue to move your car for the sweeper so crews can clean your street and prevent debris flowing to the sea.

Oceanside's General Plan Update
|
Sincere thanks to community members who have provided input on the City’s General Plan Update. Your participation is not only assisting the project team in better understanding the unique assets and needs of the Neighborhood Planning Areas (NPAs), but also contributing to the development of a positive and inclusive vision for the City of Oceanside over the next 15 to 20 years. Thus far, we’ve received limited input from residents and property owners in Eastside Capistrano, Oceana, Peacock, and those NPAs located in the Highway 78 corridor (Mira Costa, Lake, Tri-City, Ocean Hills). If you reside or own property in one of these NPAs, please feel free to contact us directly to share your concerns and ideas. You can reach out to Principal Planner Russ Cunningham at [email protected] or (760) 435-3525. Your input helps us in developing goals and policies that promote quality of life in these neighborhoods.
You're invited: The following virtual workshops will address various components of the General Plan Update:
-
January 12 at 6:00 p.m.: Land use (including Agricultural Use), Mobility, and Noise
-
January 13 at 6:00 p.m.: Community Facilities, Conservation/Open Space (including Agricultural Use), and Safety
