Vote In The Section Election

Electronic Balloting Opens November 1

Our annual Section Election kicks off November 1. All AWWA members will be sent an email invitation to vote via electronic ballot. Members will be asked to enter their email and last name which will be verified against the AWWA member database. You will only be allowed to vote once.

Section Meet and Greet To Happen at the Hockey Hall of Fame in Toronto at ACE23

Sunday June 11 - Mark Your Calendars Now!

We are pleased to announce that our Section will be holding its first ACE Meet and Greet since 2016 at the Hockey Hall of Fame in Toronto!

Join your fellow Section members as we kick off our ACE23 experience, Sunday, June 11 from 6-10pm at the Hockey Hall of Fame!

Plan your travel plans accordingly so you don't miss this fun event complete with food and beverage. The worlds largest hockey collection awaits - from access to the Stanley Cup artifacts dating back to the game's origin up to today's current season, interactive experiences, 3-D films and photos with the Stanley Cup are just some of the experiences awaiting you in this private event.

You must register to attend this event. Look for registration to come out in November after registration for ACE 23 opens.

Subsection Membership Challenge Announced

September 1 - December 31

The challenge is on! PNWS is launching a friendly competition between the Subsections to see who can recruit the most new members from Sept 1 – December 31^st, to help PNWS reach our annual recruitment goal of 293 new members in 2022.

The Subsection with the most new or reinstated members over that time will get a free lunch catered for their next Subsection meeting, social or in-person training.

The Membership Engagement and Development Committee (MEDC) will send out monthly updates on the competition on new members in your subsection and how close we are to meeting the PNWS goal. Its time to put your networks to use and invite new members to join the AWWA community! Share the AWWA membership link far and wide, and lets meet our goal! 2022-2023 PNWS Mentorship Program Accepting Applications - Final Days!

Would you like to participate in the PNWS Mentorship Program?

Are you looking for a mentor to talk to about your career or to provide feedback regarding your career path? Do you want to share your experience with others?

As Ronald Reagan said, “Each generation goes further than the generation preceding it because it stands on the shoulders of that generation.” This is the goal of the PNWS Mentorship Program, to provide a program that allows the sharing of knowledge to help others achieve their goals or to create the path towards their goal.

The fifth year of the PNWS Mentorship program will kick-off this Fall! The program involves a commitment of 5-6 meetings over a period of 6 months. You will meet with your mentor/protégé and develop a relationship with a fellow AWWA member to network and gain invaluable leadership skills. The application is available online, due October 7^th, and mentor/protégé pairs will be matched in late October 2022.
