Ohio River Basin Alliance - New Partnerships!
The Ohio River Basin Alliance (ORBA) has entered into a strategic agreement with ORSANCO, the Foundation for Ohio River Education (FORE), and Thomas More College that will provide leverage, influence, and funding opportunities for regional initiatives designed to address resource issues throughout the Ohio River Basin. Poster Contest Now Accepting Entries
The Ohio River Sweep is an annual, volunteer cleanup held to create awareness of water quality problems caused by litter and illegal dumping. The Poster Contest, held in conjunction with the Ohio River Sweep, is one way to spread the word about litter prevention. Posters submitted for the contest should reflect this goal and focus on encouraging volunteer participation.
The Poster Contest is open to students (public and private,
K-12) living in or attending schools in counties bordering the Ohio River or counties participating in the Ohio River Sweep.
Deadline for the Poster Contest is
December 15, 2017.

Ohio River Fish - Wrapping Up their 2017 Tour
ORSANCO's Life Below the Waterline mobile aquarium is wrapping up its 2017 touring season. This year, the aquarium was showcased at 12 events in 4 states, reaching thousands of visitors. The final tour tour date for 2017 will be on October 28th. Visit the Life Below the Waterline
