Happy 3rd Sunday in lent. Lent is the season of self-reflection and spiritual renewal. Our Lenten worship series is The Old, Old, Story. The stories throughout the series invites us to hear God's unfolding love story for all of creation. We began with creation's first parents, Adam and Eve. Their story taught us that respecting boundaries is an expression of love. The story of Abraham was explored last week. His faithfulness to God informs us that faith is the fuel that leads us to God's promise. This Sunday, we hear the story of a people on a quest to inherit the promise God gave their ancestor Abraham. In their struggles, we find lessons about strength. In their faults, we find hope for our shortcomings. In their God, we find refreshing rivers of living waters. As we worship, may those rivers of living waters saturate our hearts, minds, souls, and community. Let us worship.

Lenten Bible Study
All are welcome to join a 6-week Bible Study, led by Rev. Mary Bullis. This Lenten study will meet on Zoom on Wednesdays at 7:00 pm.
We will examine the seven last words that Jesus spoke from the cross, words that show his deepest love for humanity. As we study his words, we will experience the intimate and divine awe that is only available to those of us willing to come near the reality of the cross.
The study will use the book by Rev. Susan Robb, Seven Words: Listening to Christ From the Cross, available on Amazon or Cokesbury. However, you do not need to have to book to attend the class.
