Accelerating innovation and economic growth: Minnesota’s industry hub designations

Minnesota’s recent industry hub designations are propelling the state to the forefront of innovation and economic growth. These designations, such as the Clean Hydrogen Hub, the Med-Tec 3.0 Hub and the Sustainable Aviation Fuels Hub, recognize Minnesota’s leadership and offer significant benefits to businesses, investors and electric cooperatives in the state. State investment in broadband supports cooperative members

Gov. Tim Walz recently announced over $50 million in grants to expand broadband access to an estimated 8,900 homes and businesses throughout Minnesota, including areas served by two of Great River Energy’s member-owner cooperatives. This essential resource will connect more Minnesotans to jobs, education, healthcare and their communities.

Senior living projects impact the greater housing demand

Access to housing is a challenging theme

in communities throughout the nation. Housing shortages exist for nearly all demographics and the situation for senior housing is no different. Great River Energy and its member-owners are involved in supporting two projects in Greater Minnesota that outline the possibilities to address the general housing market through senior living.
