3. Florida EMSC Communication Cards: Updated Spanish Version Available!
If you suspect abuse or neglect, these cards can help you communicate with a frightened child.
Did you know that 10-15% of Floridians over age five speak a language other than English at home or speak English less than “very well”? Communication cards are a great tool for EMS agencies, hospitals and EDs to use in caring for children or communicating with the family or caregiver. The cards are also a helpful resource when assessing and treating nonverbal, autistic or non-English speaking patients of all ages.
4. University of Colorado's Identify Child Abuse Website & Learning Modules
