Getting on Board
Welcome to The Pace!
Part of the mission of Appalachian State’s Blue Cross NC Institute for Health and Human Services (IHHS) is to create a community of learning wherein all community members are engaged in the process of learning, seeking new knowledge, and directing the future of a healthy and prosperous region. The Pace is another tool to facilitate this mission.

Our lives are saturated with information that can often be confusing and overwhelming, especially during times of crisis. By synthesizing and providing concise, meaningful and local information, we hope to encourage and empower individuals to take control of their overall health. Please enjoy this weekly newsletter, which will include information to help combat stress, improve mental health, create training plans and nutritional goals, and provide helpful tips and local resources.
