Happy Easter! It was great seeing so many alumni on campus Wednesday, sharing career advice with our young Padres. Alumni from across myriad disciplines shared their expertise and career journeys, helping our students discern their own vocations and future decisions for college and beyond. It is always fulfilling to see the Padre brotherhood across generations in action.
We are also in the midst of welcoming a new class of Padres, the Class of 2021. Each year, alumni from the '70s, '80s and '90s send their sons to Serra and become part of our Serra parent community. It is always great seeing old friends reconnect here at Serra.
I hope to see you on campus soon!
Sincerely,
Bob Greene, Jr. '85
Director of Alumni Relations

Serra was proud to award
Don McMullen '59 with the 2017
JunÃpero Serra Award on Wednesday during an all-school assembly.
Don's wife and eight of his classmates were special guests at the ceremony. Don is the true embodiment of a Serra man; placing importance on his faith, family and friendships.
"Being a Padre to me is celebrating the camaraderie that we have, doing the right thing, working hard, maintaining high ethical standards, looking after others and, when things get tough, calling on the Lord," said Don. "Always keep the Lord number one in your life."

Alumni from the '70s, '80s, '90s and '00s defeated the varsity team with outstanding performances from Sean McMillan '10, Gino Lavezzo '03 and Mike Roza '84. Alumni players brought their families and enjoyed a great day at Frisella Memorial Stadium with sunshine and sandwiches.
