COVENANT SUNDAY CELEBRATION
Please join us for a community celebration on Covenant Sunday, October 28.  We will worship together in a combined service at 10 AM, during which we will offer up our 2019 pledges by placing them on the altar together as a church family.  After the service, head out to the church courtyard for a delicious cookout and fellowship. Can you bring a dessert? Bring a friend or neighbor to share in our community fun! We look forward to seeing you there!

SAFEGUARDING GOD'S PEOPLE CLASS
Palmer will hold a Safeguarding God's People class on November 3 from 9 AM to noon. Are you a ministry leader at Palmer? Are you a Eucharistic visitor or Stephen Minister? If so, or if requested by your ministry leader or clergy, you need to take a Safeguarding class!  There is a new online recertification option for those who are currently certified and up for renewal. Please contact  [email protected]  to start your certification or learn more about the recertification process.

ALL SAINTS' REQUIEM
Beginning in 1997, the Roy Jones Memorial Requiem Mass sung within the Eucharist has become an annual tradition at Palmer every November.  This year we will celebrate the All Saints' Requiem on Sunday, November 4 at the 11 AM Eucharist.  The musical setting chosen are the Burial Sentences by William Croft and two movements by music by Healy Willan and Henry Purcell.

As a part of the tradition of the All Saints' Requiem, you are invited to list the names of departed loved ones in the day's order of service.  If you would like to include someone on this list, please send an email to Vickie Harshbarger at [email protected]. October 31 is the last day to submit a name.  Be sure to give the complete spelling of the person you wish to list and also include your phone number in case we have questions.
