ACT/PSAT Prep

Need help preparing for the ACT/PSAT or ACT?

College Now Greater Cleveland’s PSAT/SAT/ACT afterschool program, impact! College Now facilitates programming for 14 21st Century Community Learning Centers’ grants throughout Cuyahoga and Lorain counties. We provide three eight-week sessions, per location, dedicated to ACT, SAT, or PSAT preparation and college and career exploration for 9th-12th grade students. This program also provides various opportunities, such as internships, college visits, career visits, and service-learning projects.

The Spring 2023 Session will take place in Lorain and Cuyahoga Counties. Eligible students are those who demonstrate need both financially (often based on free and reduced lunch eligibility) and academically (often based on PSAT/SAT/ACT score or math/reading scores/grades).

This fun and educational experience is an investment towards your students’ academic and post-secondary success! To complete the program, students must attend 30+ of the 40+ program days offered. Additionally, students must increase their PSAT/SAT/ACT math, reading, or composite score. Upon completing the program, students will receive a $200 stipend and will be eligible for college tours.

Registration for our Spring Sessions are open! Please click link to register:

Diversity Club News

Diversity Club at EC

Attention Parents! Mrs. Heinrich and Mrs. Coughlin have formed a Diversity Club at EC and are looking for new members. We want the club to represent students from ALL cultures and backgrounds, so please take time to talk to your students about the importance of their heritage and then encourage them to join Diversity Club to share their beautiful culture with others.

We are also looking for parents who might be interested in sharing more about their culture or background by volunteering to be an after school speaker for 30 minutes. We are still hammering out the details on this idea, but please reach out to Mrs. Heinrich or Mrs. Coughlin with ideas, questions, or to volunteer!
