Afterschool Supervision

To assist in the supervision of students after school, students will only be permitted to remain in the hallway directly outside the main office. Study tables will be available for students to utilize until they can be picked up. The cafeteria will not be accessible. Once a coach arrives, student athletes will be able to access the locker room and coliseum area. A student must be under direct supervision in the academic wing if they are being tutored, working with a teacher, or participating in clubs and/ or after school activities.

November in Review

Elyria Catholic celebrated Career Development Month in two ways:

  1. EC School Counselors and Career Coach visited all English classes (9th – 12th grades) to present information on Raise.Me and resume writing. Raise.Me is a program that allows high school students to earn micro scholarships toward college. Students learned about resume format and content and were provided with resources to create a resume.
  2. Career development was the theme of this month’s Grace period. Faculty and staff donned their college T-shirts and sweatshirts and facilitated career-related activities to their groups.

Please know that we are here to support you student’s personal and professional development.
