Sophomore Career & Character Development Day

Sophomores not scheduled for Iowa testing, should report to the JETPAC by 8:50 am, on Thursday, April 20. Wear your EC uniform. Bring a pen or pencil and your charged chrome book.

Summer Program

Cleveland State University has free summer program for 10-12th graders that are interested in sports or entertainment management. It’s held on CSU’s campus, and they visit and speak with representatives for a ton of places, including the Guardians, Cavs, Monsters etc. The requirements are a letter of recommendation and GPA minimum. Statewide Virtual Career Fair for Graduating Seniors


This is FREE for Ohio's graduating seniors for the whole month of May. Thanks to a partnership with Painesville City Local School and Career Town Network. Youth can virtually explore businesses near them hiring entry level employees, interns, apprentices, etc. and get to network and chat with employers. If your student is interested please have them contact Mrs. Brooks or Ms. Gauntner.

Lorain County Community College's Careers In Action Days

Student attendees will get to participate in two or three hands-on, faculty-led workshops, have an opportunity to network with current Commodores in their field of study and business mentors, and will be provided a pizza luncheon.


The event is free for students to attend. Students are required to individually register for each In Action Day they plan to attend. We will have a cap of 100 attendees for each day; with priority registration given to high school juniors and seniors.
