Drop-off and Pick-up!

Reminder


In order to keep our students, faculty, and staff safe, please drop off your students in the front of the building or far lot, NOT the near parking lot.


Please pick up students in the far parking lot after school from 2:55 to 3:15 p.m. The drive along the side of the building is an exit lane and fire lane. Traffic is not to park along this lane. If you would like to pick your student up in the turnaround please wait until after 3:15 p.m. Thank you for your cooperation.

FACTS Grant & Aid Application


Families who wish to apply for financial aid for the 2023-2024 school year are encouraged to complete the FACTS Grant & Aid Application.

  • The applications need to be started by March 1, 2023 and completed as soon as your family's taxes are completed.
  • We also encourage students to apply for the scholarships that are available to returning students The majority of these applications are due March 1.

Beyond the Panther Classroom


Black History Month

A small cohort of students came together under the direction of Mrs. Coughlin to create a Black History Month Team. The students' goal was to increase awareness about Black History Month by implementing a few engaging activities throughout the month of February like passing out pins to all faculty and students and giving prizes for those seen wearing their pins throughout the month. The Art Club also contributed some beautiful posters!

The 39th Annual Academic Achievement Awards Program hosted by Lorain County Alliance of Black School Educators will be on February 26th, 2023 at 4:00pm. The guest speaker will be Oberlin's own, Mr. Kurt Russell, 2022 National Teacher of the Year.

The Cleveland Cavaliers Community Foundation and Huntington

Ten (10) graduating seniors will be selected and awarded a $5,000 scholarship to attend college, vocational/trade school, or similar education course that will provide a certification or degree during the 2023-2024 academic year. Scholarships are awarded based on academic performance, outstanding community service, and need.
