The Panther Post
January 16, 2021
Principal's Page
Greetings to all of our Presentation Families,

Congratulations! Our Holiday Quarantine has come to an end. Our staff and teachers are looking forward to seeing our students return to school next Tuesday, January 19th. We want to thank all of our families for your continued support and dedication. We are stronger than ever, especially when we work together.

These next few weeks are going to be filled with many great things. Our students will begin the NWEA testing later this week. We are gearing up for Catholic Schools week and our Panther Pride Auction. There are many ways you can support the auction, please see the section about Auction Updates below. Please spread the word and invite your friends & family to attend this virtual event on February 6th.

This year we will not be participating in the Catholic United Financial (CUF) Raffle. CUF supports all Catholic schools and has chosen other schools to participate this year. We hope to be one of the schools chosen for 2022. This means we will need to put more effort into selling the raffle tickets for our auction. More information about the Panther Pride Raffle will be sent home next week.

As we look at the week ahead of us and the inauguration of our new president, we  want you to know we will not be broadcasting anything live in our classrooms and will limit the discussions we have with our students. The day hopefully will come and go without any issues. The social/emotional wellbeing of our students will be first and foremost on our minds. If for any reason we feel we need to change our learning environment, we will contact you immediately. We plan for school to be in-person all day.

Let us hope and pray for God’s peace and grace to descend upon our community this next week. Continue to pray for the health and wellbeing of our students, staff, teachers and school community.

Blessings to you and your family,

Sue Lovegreen, principal

If you would like to make a testimonial statement please schedule a time to film with Sam Rita at srita@presentationofmary.org. Thank you for being such an outstanding community and your help.
