CHURCH UPDATE FROM MINISTRY SUPPORT
Brothers and Sisters of Faith,
Wanted to provide you with an update on the water damage and the progress being done at church. As you attend service this weekend, you will notice several changes in the gathering space and sanctuary as work has already begun. Areas that tested positive for water damage have been demoed, sanitation of those areas has begun to stop any mold growth, and the restoration team is looking forward to getting work started. All work being done is being done according to what our insurance company wants and will provide the most complete and safest restoration possible for the property.
We have contracted with MidAmerican Restoration out of Volo, who is working directly with our insurance company. They are not doing any work without insurance approval. MidAmerican was also the company that did the initial cleanup work in the immediate aftermath of the burst pipe last week.
The timeline for the restoration to be completed is 6-8 weeks, so, Lord willing, everything will be completed prior to Palm Sunday and Holy Week. We trust the Lord’s timing in this project and in the work being done, so that the church is a blessing for many more years to come.
In Christ,
Jeremy Lohman
Deacon of Ministry Support

Sharing ideas for an event will not obligate you to oversee that event. Contact Stewardship Deacon Shawn Wietbrock with any questions.

Central African Medical Mission - JANUARY 2025
Dear Central Africa Medical Mission Supporter,
This month’s newsletter includes a wonderful update from Lusungu Mwambeye, the CAMM Clinic Administrator in Malawi. It is great to hear from her (and to receive a photo of their staff at a Christmas celebration) and to be reminded of the impact that your prayers, parcels, and financial support have on the work they are carrying out at our clinics in Malawi. God is truly blessing our work in Malawi and Zambia! Please keep our dedicated staff at these clinics in your prayers, as they face challenges each day in providing physical and spiritual care to the patients they serve.
On behalf of the CAMM Stateside Committee, we wish you God’s blessings in 2025!
Your sister in Christ,
Vickie Walther

PRAYER OF THE WEEK
Gracious Lord Jesus, you have come that I may have life and live it to the full. In your mercy, I have pardon for sin and eternal life. I am overwhelmed by the steady shower of spiritual and materials blessings that flows to me from your great goodness. You have provided for my needs and, often, for my wants. Grant me a heart so grateful that I am not content merely to enjoy your blessings but that, as an expression of my thanks, I may share your gifts to enrich the lives of others and to help meet their needs. Amen
