MEN'S BREAKFAST BIBLE STUDY - JANUARY 11

Hero's of Faith - Hebrews 11

How were Old Testament Christians saved? In the same way we are: by faith in Jesus. This Bible study examines the faith of Old Testament men and women as mentioned in Hebrews 11 and helps participants learn and live from their examples.

Men's Breakfast Bible Study is Saturday, January 11 at 7:45 AM in the Christian Life Center. This month, Pastor Zuberbier is leading the Bible study series, Heroes of Faith - Hebrews 11.  Bible study begins at 8:15 and ends at 9 AM. Come and enjoy the food and fellowship! Young men and teens are also welcome!

Please bring a dish to pass!

INSTALLATION INVITATION

The Faith congregation is invited to the installation worship service of Pastor Bram Ramgolam this Sunday (January 5) at 2:00 PM at Lord & Savior Lutheran of Crystal Lake. A reception and light snacks will follow the service.

Faith is in need of a few more ushers. If you are interested in joining an usher team, please contact John Howell at 312-246-9233 or the Faith office at 847-395-1660.

TELLERS

Have you ever wanted to serve but it's hard to find the time? Serving as a teller happens directly after Sunday service and teams serve once every 8 weeks! The teller teams are four tellers short so please consider helping to fill this need.

If you would like to serve as a teller please call the Faith office at 847-395-1660 or email Tim Anderson at finsec@faithantioch.org if you are interested in serving in this way.

"For even the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve,

and to give his life as a ransom for many.” (Mark 10:45)

PRAYER OF THE WEEK

Lord of glory, as the light of your star once led the wise men to Jesus, so the light of your Word has led us to see Jesus. Let your Word so shine in our hearts by your Spirit that each day we see Christ at the center of all we do. With him let us find comfort from sorrows, forgiveness from sins, and rest from turmoil. In his name, cause us to do good to others, to reveal him to the lost, and to praise your holy name. Amen
