Your Help is Needed:

Faith Congregational Pulse Survey

Faith Family,

As a reminder, we need your help! Faith has enrolled in the WELS Congregational Services Axis program, designed to help us assess our ministry and plan for the future.

If you have not yet completed the Congregational Pulse Survey, you still have time! The deadline to submit your survey responses is October 20th.  You can access the survey at:  https://welsccc.survey.fm/faithantioch. Every communicant member can complete this survey. That is every member of your home who takes communion at Faith can fill out the survey.

The survey takes 30-90 minutes to complete. Once you start the survey, you cannot save your progress. Please fill out the survey when you know you will have the time to complete it. This survey is completely ANONYMOUS.

Save the Date! Our AXIS Listening sessions are being held on Saturday, December 3rd from 9am to 3pm. Breakfast, lunch and refreshments will be provided and let us know if you need childcare.  Please save the date and sign up to attend by letting a member of the committee know or signing up on the board at church. These listening sessions are open to all communicant members.

If you have any questions, please let us know. You can reach out to any member of our Long-Range Planning Committee.

Thank you,

CAMP OAKRIDGE NEWS

Labor Day Weekend

The Labor Day weekend at Camp Oakridge was filled with fun and fellowship. There was something for everyone. The kids had fun with the bounce house, play area, riding their bicycles, a scavenger hunt and the pinata. Saturday morning was homemade donuts for breakfast. Saturday evening featured an accordion musician with singing and some dancing followed by dinner. The delicious pig roast with corn on the cob and a huge assortment of side dishes and desserts was enjoyed by over 100 people. Church worship under the pavilion followed dinner with 113 attending. Sunday morning was breakfast back at the pavilion. It was so enjoyable to share the time together with so many members from our sister congregations. Mark your calendar for next Labor Day and camp for the weekend or just come up for the day.

Racine County Fair

A special Thank You to our six volunteers who along with other congregations volunteered their time to help at the Racine County Fair.  Camp Oakridge received $5000 for the volunteer hours.

MINISTRY FAIR FOLLOW-UP AND THANK YOU

THANKS to everyone who participated in and attended our Ministry Fair last Sunday! Our youth acting troupe gave a well-received skit encouraging attendance at the fair. (If you have any ideas for future skits, let us know, and we hope to have them perform again in the near future). We believe the ministry fair was very informative and hopefully inspired many to become more involved with the ministry at Faith!

THANK YOU FROM HELEN BEAGER

Helen Beager

~ for peace, clarity, and guidance from the Holy Spirit for Pastor Brett Brauer, as he deliberates the two calls he now holds.

PRAYER OF THE WEEK

Gracious God, all that I have comes from you: my body and mind, my strength and intelligence, my time and abilities, my energy and possessions. Guard me from the temptation to use these gifts only for my personal benefit. Make me willing to use them joyfully in service to you and to your people. Amen.
