The Partner College Weekly
ACTION REQUIRED
Encourage Scholars to complete Our First Annual Scholar Survey -
Deadline is April 30
Scholars received email invitations for TheDream.US: 2018-2019 Scholar Survey on Monday, 4/15. They are asked anonymously about their experiences at their Partner College, with TheDream.US, and outside of school. If they did not receive an invitation, they should email Hyein.Lee@thedream.us.

TIP: If time and capacity allows - consider hosting a Scholars' gathering on campus to complete the survey; they can stop by anytime within the designed hour, grab a snack, etc.

The survey closes April 30th – we appreciate your help in getting 100% participation!
Graduation Stoles Delivered to PCs - Please Distribute
Packages of stoles and other items were delivered to the PC contact you listed in your submitted Spring grad list.

Please let your Scholars know to pick up their stole from the designated contact. You will find an instruction letter in the package - please read and follow it carefully. Those graduating with a Bachelor's or Associate degree (and not continuing to pursue a Bachelor’s) should be signed up on our Alumni Network before they can have their stole* (see video below for Platform overview!).

*If a graduate really does not wish to join the Alumni Network, you may still give them a stole.

Watch Now: TheDream.US Alumni Network - Platform Overview
In November 2018, we officially launched our Alumni Network Platform - a private site for TheDream.US grads to network with each other and share career and grad school resources.
We would like you to encourage all your graduates to sign up and stay engaged as they advance in their post-grad lives.

To see the features of the platform, and how you can sign up as a Supporter and post jobs for our graduates, check out this short video overview:
The New York DREAM Act – Signed, Sealed, and Delivered!
The José Peralta New York State DREAM Act was signed into law by Governor Andrew Cuomo last Friday (4/12), after passing the state Assembly and Senate in January. We celebrate the culmination of years of advocacy for increased access to higher education for undocumented DREAMers in New York! We will be watching implementation closely to determine next steps for our Partner Colleges in New York.
