Executive Order Targeting In-State Tuition

The Trump Administration has issued an Executive Order attempting to dictate to states who qualifies for in-state tuition or not. This is unlawful.

States have the legal right to decide who qualifies for in-state tuition. We must plan, not panic. We are reviewing, preparing, and standing firm with Dreamers.

TheDream.US along with the Presidents’ Alliance on Higher Education and Immigration reacted and provided the following statement.

Fighting For In-State Tuition in Texas

A dangerous bill to take away in-state tuition in Texas its making its way through the Legislature. Last week, our President & CEO Gaby Pacheco testified in front of the Senate Education Committee to tell them about the importance of preserving in-state tuition for Dreamers. She brought with her the thousands of success stories of TheDream.US Scholars who are now graduates and are giving back to communities across Texas and our country. We will keep fighting back!
