It’s that time of year to order stoles for your TheDream.US Graduating Scholars! 

Please review and complete this Google Sheet for your (Spring, Summer & Fall 2024) graduating Scholars. Please note:

• If your College is not on the list, please add to the end of the list
• Indicate when you are done by selecting "updated" in column A; if you do not need stoles this year, select “No Stoles Needed”

Deadline to request: Wednesday, March 27^th at 5 pm PST.

Packages and tracking information will be sent to you in mid-to-late April. If you have any questions, please email chris.aviles@thedream.us.

How to monitor application statuses:

Visit your Partner College ISTS Portal and run the National Applicant Report. Reach out to Started Applicants to ensure that they submit before the deadline.

Applicants should monitor the status of their application on their home page at https://aim.applyISTS.net. They should allow 5 to 7 business days after submitting for ISTS to verify transcripts.

Yesterday, 3 of our Partner Colleges shared their experiences with TheDream.US PC Career Development Fund and TheDream.US Internship and Fellowship Programs. We had the privilege of hearing not just from staff but 3 Scholars who talked about the impact of these programs on their professional development.

Last week, we launched a new series – “I am an Immigrant Entrepreneur” – weekly 60-second videos celebrating and sharing the stories of our entrepreneurial alumni. Check out the second installment here featuring Karen, from Arrupe College of Loyola University.

We invite you to follow us on social media as we share a new 60-second story each Monday for the next eight weeks, and we ask that you please share them on your own social networks! We hope that these videos, which were produced by another TheDream.US graduate, encourage other Dreamers to think outside the box and learn the transformative impact of entrepreneurship on their lives and communities.

With now over 300 registrants, we are looking forward to seeing many of you soon for SUCCESS 2024!

Why is this survey important?

Your participation drives the Opening Session for the Convening. It helps us understand the national landscape of post-graduation pathways with robust, data-driven conversations. In our inaugural 2022 Convening, over 120 individuals (67%) participated in the Survey. With a much larger audience this year, we want to increase participation.

February's Immigration Q&A session will be led by Sui Chung, an attorney in Miami, Florida. Sui is an Elected Director of the American Immigration Lawyers Association (AILA) National Board of Governors. She has been a relentless champion of immigrants throughout her career.

Sui will be providing general feedback and guidance on Scholars' immigration questions for the first 30 minutes of our session.
