SCHOLARSHIP PROMOTION

Opportunity Scholarship closes Today, midnight PST

Last chance to reach each out to your Opportunity Scholarship applicants!

Partner Colleges can monitor application statuses in their Partner College ISTS Portal by running the Opportunity Applicant Report.

Applicants should monitor the status of their application on their home page at https://aim.applyISTS.net. They should allow 5 to 7 business days after submitting for ISTS to verify transcripts.

Tracking Application Statuses:

• Not Submitted: Student started an application, has yet to submit.

• Submitted: If within first 5-7 business days, ISTS is verifying transcripts. If the status remains “Submitted” after 7 business days there was an issue with the transcripts. ISTS will notify these students to re-submit their transcripts. Submitted applications will not be reviewed.

• Complete: Transcripts were verified and application is ready for review.

Students can also monitor the status of their transcripts on their ISTS home page:

  • Not Received: the attachment has either not been received or has been rejected.
  • Processing: the attachment has been received and is being reviewed.
  • Rejected: the attachment has been rejected – you can see the reason.
  • Accepted: the attachment has been verified and accepted by ISTS.

What to aim for:

Using data from previous rounds (excluding last year's record number of awardees), we've determined that it takes 20 submitted applications to yield the required 10 enrolled Scholars. See this chart:
