Share Your Practices with the SUCCESS Team

This survey will help our team understand the range of institutional practices promoting equitable access to higher education and career success for undocumented students, regardless of immigration status. Your feedback and insight are crucial to setting the stage for the Convening. The survey will take about 10-15 minutes to complete.

Please submit your responses by July 11, 2025.

Survey responses will be accessed by the SUCCESS logistics team periodically. The survey will be evaluated prior to the convening and turned into reports and a presentation to be shared during the State of Play session on September 11.

Supporting TPS Scholars

Last week, we were deeply disheartened to share with our Scholars that DHS officially terminated Temporary Protected Status (TPS) for Haiti. We will continue to support and advocate for our Scholars’ right to live, learn, and thrive in safety. Here are immediate steps and resources to share with Scholars:

Know Your Rights: Immigrant Legal Resource Center – Legal guides and updates.

Seek Legal Support: Search via Immigration Advocates Network. If you qualify under other immigration pathways (asylum, other visas, family petitions, etc.), it’s critical to explore these with trusted legal help NOW!

Mental Health and Community Support: Seek community centers, churches, and on-campus resources that offer culturally informed counseling and support groups.

Stay Informed & Engaged: Policy landscapes change. Stay connected with us and advocacy organizations pushing for humane immigration policies.

Toolkit- How to Support Detained or Deported Students
