Renewal Form Re-Opened Until June 30th

Thank you for supporting Scholars through the Renewal Process! This is the one requirement they must complete every year to keep their scholarship and continue on their college journey. We deeply appreciate your outreach and troubleshooting transcript issues to ensure our Scholars’ success.

We sincerely thank you for bringing any technical issues to our attention and are truly sorry for the challenges and stress you and/or the Scholars may have experienced!



We’re letting you know that the 2025-2026 Scholarship Renewal Form has been reopened for Scholars starting Wednesday, June 25 at 12:00 PM ET through Monday, June 30 at 11:59 PM ET.

Here are Renewal statuses as of this morning June 25th, 2025:

Opportunity

• Complete - 93%
• Submitted - 4%
• Incomplete - 3%

National

• Complete - 88%
• Submitted - 2%
• Incomplete - 10%

Note: Those with Submitted Renewals still have the opportunity to become Complete upon review of their transcript. Scholars must continue to track the status of their transcript upload on their ISTS Scholar Portal.

Renewal decisions will be emailed to all Scholars by ISTS in late July/early August.

Accepting Summer Term EVRs

The Partner Colleges listed here can submit Summer Term EVRs once classes have started and schedules are finalized. Please note: newly awarded Scholars are eligible to receive Summer funding, and should be included in this EVR.

The deadline to submit Summer EVRs is Thursday, July 31, 2025!

Last Chance: Confirm Your New Scholar Swag Delivery Now!

Just a few days until our deadline to confirm the delivery address for your New Scholar Swag items: TheDream.US bags, pens, stickers and more. We need you to update your mailing address here asap, so we can ensure you receive the items for Scholar distribution before our Nationwide New Scholar Welcome. Make sure you indicate updated or confirmed in column A. Deadline to update your mailing address is this Friday, June 27th.

Are You Screening the Nationwide New Scholar Welcome on Your Campus?

We highly encourage you to provide an opportunity for New Scholars to come together in-person on your campus to screen our virtual Nationwide New Scholar Welcome event held on Thursday, August 7th, 2025, 2pm EDT, 11am PDT, 1pm CDT. You will be receiving New Scholar Swag before the event, so it will be great timing to distribute to your incoming Scholars.  

Here is the “Save the Date” flyer for the event, that you can share with your Scholars. If you are organizing a screening and/or orientation, please let us know by completing the Screening/Orientation Form by Thursday, July 31st, 2025.

Share Your Practices With Our Team

This survey will help our team understand the range of institutional practices promoting equitable access to higher education and career success for undocumented students, regardless of immigration status. Your feedback and insight are crucial to setting the stage for the Convening. The survey will take about 10-15 minutes to complete.

Please submit your responses by July 11, 2025.

Survey responses will be accessed by the SUCCESS logistics team periodically. The survey will be evaluated prior to the convening and turned into reports and a presentation to be shared during the State of Play session on September 11.

Toolkit- How to Support Detained or Deported Students

TheDream.US collaborated with Presidents’ Alliance and Institutional Solutions created the “Steps Campuses can Take to Support Detained or Deported Students”, a resource designed to help colleges and universities take a proactive approach in identifying and providing appropriate support for students, faculty, and staff in the event of detention or deportation. Review the guide for helpful tips you can implement on your campus!

Graduate Loan Scholarship Application is Now Open!

TheDream.US Alumni who take out any private student loans are eligible to apply for the Graduate Loan Scholarship. The application period is open now through September 3rd this year. 

You can find the eligibility criteria and the scholarship application link in our Graduate School Resources page here.

The private loans can be from any company including the Dreamers Graduate Loan Program, Discover, Ascend, Self-Help, etc.

New Scholar Onboarding

On Tuesday, July 1st, all New Scholars will receive email four of five - TheDream.US onboarding emails on Your Scholar Advisor and Maximizing Your Award. 

Each email will have specific responsibilities and action items for your Scholars to complete. They will receive one new email on Tuesdays, every two weeks.  

Emails will be posted to the New Scholar Central, after they are sent.
