2025-2026 Application Round

This Year’s Application Round Dates:

Opportunity

Opens: November 1, 2024

Closes: January 31, 2025

National

Opens: November 1, 2024

Closes: February 28, 2025

Our application numbers are steadily increasing - an indication of the resilience of Dreamers and their continued desire to pursue education.

We still need your help in getting the word out! Now is the time for Dreamers to start or continue their college success journey with you, our Partner Colleges, and TheDream.US

Best Practices:

  • Please remember to run your Applicant Report every week in your ISTS PC Portal and reach out to prospective students. Hearing from an ally on-campus makes the difference between a started and submitted application.
  • Partner with local media to highlight the stories of undocumented students and Dreamer supports on-campus. Please see these powerful examples from Delaware and New York.
  • Consider hosting a promotional event, to reach out to prospective students, high school counselor networks, and local organizations serving immigrants.

Key Reminders:

  • Your promotional materials can be tracked here
  • We are hosting 2 Promotional Events this Fall – please share widely:
  • Opportunity Scholarship Virtual College Fair – Thursday, December 17 at 6 pm ET – Register Here
  • National Scholarship Q&A – Thursday, December 19 at 6 pm ET – Register Here
  • With the new ISTS application platform, applicants will be prompted for the following case-sensitive “Program Keys” to open a new TheDream.US application:
  • National: “Dream”
  • Opportunity: “DreamOpportunity”
  • The codes can also be found in the National and Opportunity Application Guides

All Fall EVR Payments Have Been Wired - Please Communicate to Scholars the Status of their Scholarship Funds

All Fall EVR payments were wired as of Friday, November 15. Please reference the status of your institution’s EVR and wire payment here.

We continue to receive lots of inquiries from Scholars regarding the status of their Fall funds and stipends (if applicable). Please communicate to your Scholars the status of their Fall funds and ensure they are still able to register for upcoming Winter/Spring terms. We deeply appreciate your commitment to reconciling student accounts as soon as possible.

We are now working through payment exceptions and adjustments for individual Scholars.

IN CASE YOU MISSED IT

RECAP: November PC Power Hour - Election Response: How We Support Our Dreamers On-Campus Now

Higher education has always been at the forefront of landmark social movements and protecting historically marginalized students. We strongly believe in our Partner College community and the collective commitment to support Dreamers on-campus through times of heightened uncertainty and anxiety.

We were incredibly grateful to have over 250 Partner College staff nationwide join the November PC Power Hour yesterday. Guest speakers, immigration attorney Dan Berger and therapist Cheryl Aguilar, shared immediate guidance and resources on how to support immigrant students and staff as we prepare for the new administration.

Please view the presentation (with links to resources shared) and the recording.

Our last PC Power Hour this year will be on Tuesday, December 17 at 2 pm ET. We hope to see you there!
