MUST KNOW

We announce the transition of President Candy Marshall into Senior Advisor Role

Candy Marshall, president of the organization throughout its ten years of existence, will transition to the role of Senior Advisor on November 1.

"We recognize that our work will likely need to continue for the next several years. I have decided that this is the right time for me to step out of my leadership role and make room for a new CEO. I wanted to take this opportunity to thank each of you. You assumed the role of serving as the overall steward and advocate of TheDream.US program and Scholars in addition to your current responsibilities. Our Scholars have thrived on your campuses thanks to your leadership and the teams you assembled to support them."

Read Candy's full remarks in our press release here.

With great excitement, we will announce our new leader in the next few weeks.

October 25th: I Stand with Immigrants Day of Action

On October 25th, we are partnering with FWD.us and the I Am An Immigrant Campaign to redouble our support for immigrants of all backgrounds on the I Stand With Immigrants Day of Action. We encourage Partner Colleges to consider signing up their campus for I Stand with Immigrants.

Colleges can participate in this Day of Action by:

  • Sharing their support for immigrant-origin students, staff, and faculty on social media on October 25th.
  • Showcasing the contributions and accomplishments of your immigrant-origin students, staff, faculty, and alumni!
  • Sharing resources you have for your undocumented, refugee, and other immigrant-origin students leading up to and on the Day of Action.
  • Inviting students on campuses to participate in the Day of Action. Students and other on-campus groups can sign up at this link: iamanimmigrant.com/dayofaction

Email [email protected] by October 20th to join as an I Stand With Immigrants Day of Action partner.
