It's time to promote our Scholarship: Promotional Kickoff Recording and PPT

Thank you for attending our annual promotional kickoff event last week.

If you missed it, you can find the recording and PPT in your PC Hub, along with the 2022-23 Promotional toolkit of content and materials to help you promote the Scholarships to potential Scholars.

Our 2022-2023 Scholarship applications are live on Monday, November 1st. Please reach out to your TheDream.US relationship manager (RM) to help you in your promotional activities. Find your RM here.

TheDream.US is Hiring: Sr. Program Manager, College Programs

The Sr. Program Manager, College Programs will be primarily responsible for: (1) building a network of Partner Colleges that have identified, implemented, and shared evidence-based policies and practices that address the systemic barriers undocumented students face in college and career success; (2) overseeing and evolving TheDream.US Partner College Model; (3) serving as a Relationship Manager for a portfolio of designated Partner Colleges; and (4) helping build field expertise by sharing evidence-based policies and practices with education and business leaders via conferences and workshops.

You're Invited: In Their Own Words: Supporting Academic Success through COVID-19

The 2020-2021 academic year continued to present unique challenges for TheDream.US Scholars. The ongoing uncertainty around COVID-19 and immigration policy emphasized the structural barriers Scholars face in college success.

Between May and June 2021, over 2,500 TheDream.US Scholars used their voice in the third annual Scholar Survey to share their experiences from the last academic year. Please join us for a 1-hour session where we will:

Share key narratives around what Scholars told us about their Partner College experience and the supports they need for academic success
Break out into small groups to share promising practices across campuses and to identify supports our Partner Colleges need to do this work

Do you need Stoles for Fall 2021 Graduates?

Scholar Advisors: Please distribute stoles and this letter to TheDream.US Scholars graduating this fall.

If you require more stoles for fall 2021 grads, please order them by completing this Google form no later than Mon, November 8th. (You will have a chance to order more stoles for May graduates in the Spring)

Stoles will be mailed out to Scholar Advisors the week of November 15th.

Scholars can join TheDream.US team and attorney Dan Berger for a 30 min Q&A session to get their questions answered!

Dan Berger is an immigration attorney with 20 years of experience and a particular focus on undocumented students.

Thursday, Nov 4th

4 pm PT / 6 pm CT / 7 pm ET

TFA wants to hire TheDream.US Scholars and Grads as full-time teachers or part-time interns to expand educational opportunities to students in under-resourced schools.

Scholars with DACA and from all majors may apply. Encourage them to attend this Info Session to learn about the program and how to apply.

Please encourage current Scholars to regularly log into their ISTS Scholar Portal to keep track of their award, and to find helpful information about their Scholarship, including:

Scholar status and application ID
Maximum Award
The total amount used so far and amount remaining
Date and amount of last payments
Approved breaks in enrollment
TheDream.US Request Form (new for National Scholars)
