Starting this school year, we ask that you disburse the full $1,000/year ($500/term) stipend (if applicable) directly to the Scholar – unless the Scholar directs you to apply it toward other costs (e.g., tuition differentials, lab costs, health insurance, etc.).

In efforts to keep our Scholars informed about recent DACA and TPS policy changes and help answer their immigration questions, we will be hosting monthly Immigration Office Hours, lead by Dan Berger, an immigration attorney with 20 years of experience and a particular focus on DACA and undocumented students.

The Senior Program manager for Scholar Programs will play a key role in helping DREAMers succeed in college and launch meaningful careers. We are looking for someone with experience in college success programs and/or career services, with the latter highly desirable. This person will join a highly productive and supportive team that is passionate about meeting the needs of DREAMers.

A federal appeals court decided Monday that President Donald Trump can phase out protections for hundreds of thousands of families that have been living and working legally in the U.S., many of them for decades.

The 2-1 ruling by the California-based 9th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals lifted a block on Trump's ending of temporary protected status, or TPS, for more than 300,000 people. The administration could expel people from Sudan, Nicaragua and Haiti as soon as March and from El Salvador by November 2021.
