Open Position - Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DEI) Research Project Manager
The Partnership is searching for a DEI Manager to lead program activities tackling issues of diversity, equity and inclusion in all Partnership activities including training, mentoring, outreach and research at both institutions.

Open Positions - Center of Cancer Equity and Engagement (CCEE)
The DF/HCC Center of Cancer Equity and Engagement (CCEE) is looking to hire both a Community Health Educator (CHE) and a Program Manager. The CCEE aims to ensure that the work and research of the DF/HCC are driven by the needs of communities across Massachusetts.

Call for Applications: Building Interdisciplinary Research Careers in Women's Health (BIRCWH)
The Harvard-wide BIRCWH training grant is titled, "Hormones and Genes in Women’s Health: From Bench to Bedside." Applications are being accepted for an MD or PhD/ScD to develop an academic career in women's health and sex differences in medicine.

Paid Harvard Research Study
Undergraduate students are needed for a Harvard study on student perceptions of "belonging" at college. Students will participate in one 60-minute Zoom and will receive a $40 Amazon e-gift card.

The Beacon Student Success Fellowship is a program offered through the UMB Office of Career Services and Internships that will help fund your unpaid or underfunded Summer 2022 internship, research project, or study abroad program. UMass Boston's College of Nursing and Health Sciences is hosting a seminar featuring a presentation from Dr. Richard Viskochil on "Physical Activity and Sedentary Behavior One Year After Colorectal Cancer Diagnosis: A Potential Window for Personalized Lifestyle Interventions."

NCI's Center to Reduce Cancer Health disparities is hosting another Professional Advancement Virtual Engagement Series (PAVES) session.

Mentor Training Series - Apr. 14th
The next mentor training session will be on "Addressing Equity and Inclusion." Participants will examine expectations they and their mentees may bring to a mentoring relationship.

DF/HCC Cancer Disparities Research Symposium - Apr. 15th
Join us for a presentation from Dr. Don Dizon, MD, FACMI, FIAHSI on "Don't Ask, Can't Count: Addressing the Invisibility of the Cancer Trajectory Experience Among Sex and Gender Minoritized People."

Workforce Development Symposium: Bridging the Divides - Apr. 22nd
The Partnership will be hosting our second annual Workforce Development Symposium featuring Dr. Ana Diez Roux from Drexel University. Following the keynote, there will be a panel session with distinguished researchers.
Student Spotlight Cami Christopher
Cami is a graduate student working in Dr. Christina Dieli-Conwright's lab on "Testing Home-Based Exercise Strategies to Improve Exercise Participation and Cardiovascular Health in Underserved Minority Patients with Cancer Undergoing Chemotherapy."

She will be graduating with her MPH from Boston University this spring and will be pursuing her PhD in population health sciences focusing on Nutritional Epidemiology at Harvard University in the fall.
