The Langston Bar Association joins the nation in mourning the passing of Reverend Jesse L. Jackson, Sr., a transformative leader whose lifelong advocacy advanced civil rights, political empowerment, and economic justice.
From his work alongside Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. to his leadership of the Rainbow PUSH Coalition, to his historic presidential run, Reverend Jackson challenged our nation to honor its constitutional promise of equality and opportunity. His voice, grounded in faith and conviction, expanded access, and opened doors for generations

Reverend Jackson’s legacy calls all of us to continued vigilance. We extend our heartfelt condolences to his loved ones.
