The Passing of Vincent J. Bartiromo
September 8, 1932 – January 7, 2022
It is with great sadness that we inform you of the passing of Vincent J. Bartiromo, father of CCF Board Member Maria Bartiromo.

On Friday, January 7, 2022, Vincent Bartiromo, loving husband and father of three children passed away at the age of 89. Vincent was born on September 8, 1932, in Brooklyn, NY to Carmine and Theresa Bartiromo. He served his country in the Korean War and was discharged with honor on November 30, 1960. He will rest alongside his brothers who served in World War II with honor and distinction. Vincent was owner and chef of his family business, The Rex Manor in Borough Park Brooklyn. He dedicated his career to the Rex Manor and was beloved by all who knew him. On January 27, 1957, he married Josephine Morreale. They raised three children, son Patrick and daughters, Theresa and Maria. Vincent is survived by his wife Josephine, his three children Patrick, Theresa and Maria, sons-in-law John and Jonathan, daughter-in-law Margaret, and six grandchildren, Jonathan, Nicholas, Samantha, Michael, Vincent and Anthony. He is also survived by his sister Angelina and several nieces and nephews.
 
Vincent had a passion and love for his family, friends, Italian cooking, horse racing and playing cards and was happiest when in the company of his wife, children and grandchildren. He was an avid Frank Sinatra and big band music lover. He was known for his gentleness, kindness, infectious smile, quick wit and generous spirit. He was a regular at every Columbus Weekend, watching the parade from the red carpet stands as his daughter Maria hosted the parade for the past 20 years. He enjoyed attending the Gala ever year with his whole family.
