Tershina Williams has been a part of the Pathway team since 2011. She has worked her way up through multiple positions supporting Pathway students which led to her current role as a Behavioral Interventionist.
Tershina responds quickly and positively, no matter which student, program, or behavior she is assisting with. Even in stressful situations,she always has a sense of calm. Tershina makes behavioral decisions that are well thought out, follows the students' programming, and takes into consideration all of the important factors that are crucial in those moments (e.g., trauma, student preferences, safety).
When staff and students encounter Tershina on campus, she always greets them with a smile and positive attitude. Her strong relationships with students provides them with the support they need in difficult times. We are lucky to have Tershina on our team!

In 2016, Taquan arrived at The Pathway School and he has made immense improvement throughout the years. Specifically this year, Taquan has shown amazing initiative in setting personal goals, and taking the steps needed to achieve them. He has been open to feedback and support from staff which is a key skill helping students to learn and grow. He has really blossomed in his ability to advocate for his needs. Whereas he still has challenges, he has worked hard to come up with healthy ways to problem-solve obstacles and cope with stressors.

He gathers all of the information that he can, speaks with trusted friends and adults, and weighs the pros and cons. The Pathway Players Present - Into The Woods, Jr.

|
The Pathway Players gave three fabulous performances of the musical,
Into the Woods, Jr. The cast of 10 took on the roles of favorite storybook characters such as Cinderella, Little Red Riding Hood, Jack (and his beanstalk) and the Witch. The story also includes a Baker and his wife who wish to have a child, but are unable to due to a witch’s curse. The couple ventures into the forest to find what is needed to reverse the spell and bring back the witch’s beauty. On their journey they meet up with these beloved fairy tale characters.
Directed by Pete Pryor, the cast included seasoned actors as well as first time performers. Parents, teachers, peers and friends in the community were entertained, laughing and applauding as the actors gave amazing performances, which became more fine-tuned with each show.
Special thanks to Shanell Coleman for making the costumes, backstage managers Dan Zippay and Karen Boettger and Amy Schuler and her art class for creating the colorful props.

PetSmart Donates Stuffed Animals to Pathway Students
|
|
|
A big thanks and shout out to the AMAZING team at PetSmart Store #2255 in Levittown, PA, as well as Pathway team member Rita Bernhart, for coordinating this wonderful donation of 200 new stuffed animals as gifts for Pathway students this holiday season. PetSmart Charities sells these cute stuffed animals in PetSmart stores and proceeds support pet therapy programs at children's hospitals across the country.

The Pathway School Campaign

Innovation remains central at Pathway enabling us to better serve students with special needs. Years of visioning, planning, and research by administrators and board members culminated in a two-phase plan to expand our student body and revitalize our campus. The Pathway School Campaign will enable us to provide a STEM for all curriculum, fully integrating in-class learning with STEM concepts that are omnipresent in 21st century careers and daily life.
