Carroll featured on 6ABC Sunday Televised Mass

Archbishop John Carroll High School will be featured on consecutive Sundays in November on 6ABC-TVs (WPVI-TV) Sunday Televised Mass.
Father Michael Speziale, Director of Campus Ministry, will be the principal celebrant for Masses on Sunday, Nov. 5 and again on Sunday, Nov.12, at 5:30 a.m.
Carroll students will also participate in the liturgy.

This year's Father-Daughter Dance is Friday, Nov. 10, 7 p.m. - 10 p.m., at Westover Country Club. Please join us for an evening of dinner and dancing.

2018 GE-Reagan Foundation Scholarship
High school seniors who demonstrate exceptional leadership, drive, integrity, and citizenship are invited to apply for the 2018 GE-Reagan Foundation Scholarship Program. This program annually provides college-bound students with $10,000 renewable scholarships-up to $40,000 total per recipient-and supports them as they lead and serve in college and beyond.
To be eligible for this award, applicants must: demonstrate at school, at the workplace, and within the community the attributes of leadership, drive, integrity, and citizenship; demonstrate strong academic performance (minimum 3.0 grade point average/4.0 scale or equivalent); be citizens of the United States of America; be current high school seniors, and plan to enroll in a full-time undergraduate course of study toward a bachelor’s degree at an accredited four-year college or university in the United States for the entire upcoming academic year.

The Norm Brodsky Idea/Business Concept Competition at Rider University
Rider University is inviting all sophomores, juniors and seniors to submit a 400-word description of an idea or business concept for a chance to win a 4-year, full-tuition scholarship in The Norm Brodsky idea/business concept competition. This competition is

Tess Humes and Julia Downs were victorious in the Girls PCL Tennis Doubles championship match.
Tess was also runner-up in the singles finals.

Honors for senior soccer star
Carroll senior soccer player Claire Boylan was one of two recipients of the First Lieutenant Travis Manion & Corporal Michael Crescenz Award, presented by the Army-Navy Cup Committee at halftime of the Army/Navy Cup match between the two service academies at Talen Energy Stadium in Chester on Oct. 15.
Claire is a four-year letter winner. Congratulations Claire!

A message from the School Nurse to Parents of the Class of 2019
All high school juniors in the State of Pennsylvania are mandated to submit a physical along with immunizations.
This is NOT interchangeable with the PIAA sports form required for sports.
All seniors are required to get an additional vaccine, the meningococcal conjugate vaccine. This vaccine may be given at the same time of the Junior Physical. This vaccine is required to attend school next year (senior year).
Please submit a record of this vaccine as soon as your child receives the MCV.
