Dear sisters and brothers in Christ Jesus, part of a growing repentance remnant globally,
One of my favorite stories in the gospels is Yeshua/ Jesus asleep in the boat as the storm arises on the Sea of Galilee:
" Now when He got into a boat, His disciples followed Him. And suddenly a great tempest arose on the sea, so that the boat was covered with the waves. But He was asleep. Then His disciples came to Him and awoke Him, saying, 'Lord, save us! We are perishing!' But He said to them, 'Why are you fearful, O you of little faith?' The He arose and rebuked the winds and the sea, and there was a great calm. So the men marveled, saying, 'Who can this be, that even the winds and the sea obey Him?'" ~ Matthew 8: 23-27
How do we get to that place? To the Peace of Christ that passes understanding? How do we get beyond the fear of everyday circumstances? yep-you guessed it: regular repentance.
The more the old sin strongholds are removed through sincere repentance, the more the Fruits of the Holy Spirit flow freely. And of those nine precious Fruits (Galatians 5: 22-25), the Peace of Christ may be especially essential in these stormy times. The Kingdom of God is not eating and drinking, but righteousness and peace and joy in the Holy Spirit. In these troubled times, as you and I evidence His Peace to all those around us, we can minister Jesus to many, answering anxious prayers, bringing many into His Kingdom. We have to live in Him, in His Word, and in His Spirit!
There is confirmation in a recent rhema word received by our sister Kathleen:
Now, take the time to consider these things, little ones. Do not delay! Larger, more threatening, elements have been set into place … set to appear at the bidding of the Evil One. Those, who are fully awake, and intimately connected to Me will discern them. They will raise up a disclosure of the Truth, as well as the alarm, and the intercession to strike down these wicked plans. Why? Because the fearless and the faithful will hear My voice and trust My plan at work. What I tell them to pray, and to decree, they will do. I will reveal to My prophets the secret things that the Enemy hopes to conceal until the hour of destruction. My armies will engage so that all, which is being put into motion, will serve MY PLANS AND PURPOSES. Do you trust Me? Will you reject all fear of death and loss? Will you LIVE fully in faith, and in allegiance to My call; fulfilling your destiny? In this way, you will always be on the winning side. You will always be able to live in strength and in shalom. If your death is in My hands, and if your heart is on My Kingdom, and set upon obedience to My call, there is NOTHING that can rob you of My glory. That glory shall come through you to impact the world in ways that you can never imagine. Remember! No assumptions! No opinions! Live in Me, in My word, and in My Spirit. The liar and the thief will have no power over you. Fear will be a toothless foe. There will be no need for you to be distressed, or to take control of your destiny. I have it all! And in Me you are well kept … from your first heartbeat, to the exactly ordained moment of your return into My eternal abode.”
