FEMA Public Assistance Financial Training - April 8

In partnership with Piedmont Triad Regional Council, we are pleased to offer a free FEMA Public Assistance Financial Training for local governments on April 8 in Kernersville. This is a great way for any of your staff to gain an understanding of public assistance, and is specifically designed to help finance staff, first responder, managers and support staff, and elected officials.

As we have seen in the aftermath of Hurricane Helene, it is vitally important that communities are prepared to access public assistance funds in the wake of disaster. This training can help begin that preparation process.

Topics that will be covered in the training include:

  • Pre-disaster conditions
  • Post-disaster operations
  • Final reconciliation and closeout

To register, send an email to NCARCOGtraining@hscllc.net with the name of the individual attending the course, any dietary requirements, and any accommodation needs. Please register by Friday, April 4.
